Physical Education

Physical Education (PE) is a compulsory subject in all grades. Students will need appropriate clothing and a towel for showering after the lesson. PE timetables are provided so that parents and students know what clothes and equipment to bring. If you don't have specialist equipment, students can borrow from school supplies. Stocks are limited and we cannot guarantee that all sizes will be available. Skis, ski boots, ice-skates and helmets can be bought quite cheaply from local fleamarkets (kirpputori).

In PE a wide range of sports are taught and students are encouraged to participate actively and try new activities. If you have any questions or concerns about sports that are new to your child, please contact the PE teacher and they will do their best to answer your questions.
